Default Patrick Long extracurricular activity

It seems Patrick Long has had a good day winning the camping world series NASCAR event at Miller in the Aasco Ford, he won on sunday and Aasco Yokohama regular Brian Wong was 6th.

Way to go Patrick! I ran into Patrick at the Hendrick's museum this spring as he was just looking around like I was....super great guy and we talked for a while and I became even more of a fan of his.

That was a great time wasn't it! Lots of Rennlisters in that pic. He drove everyone's car with everyone and would be at or near the limit in each car within 4 turns and I am not exaggerating, I promise. All sorts of different cars, beautiful to watch! I think that had to be the ultimate DE, private tracktime, small group and one on one with Patrick.

Guess it's time to do another one for sure!!

Way to go Pat, awesome job!

Oh yes and if I remember correctly that was with him having zero spins and zero wheels off on a new to him track.

In fact I believe everyone there improved their skills/lap times without having any spins or offs themselves. The ultimate Race Clinic/DE!

It was awesome! Glen & Melissa did a great job putting it together. Rode 3 laps with him in B'Mo's Cup, went back out in mine & immediately knocked off a second. To say he knows his stuff would be a huge understatement! His mental prep/advice was great too. Very sharp & the nicest guy you'll ever meet

That's probably true. I didn't have to worry so much about reflections back when I had a bunch more hair...and stayed in the car!

And the dude below him on the stairs is my then boss, George Shultz. picture was taken in 1988, Sonoma Airport, en route to the Bohemian Grove Festival. FYI: I am the guy in the driver's seat of the Caddy.
