Sorry, I thought the context for my comment was clear. There is no F1 craving in the US. So a comparison to Monaco ain't working... Do you really think Monaco is paying to host a F1 event????????????? La Principaute isn't...

Won't happen, I almost thought you'd suggest Detroit...

Chicago is cool but the place for a GP in US needs to be a place that looks & is more cool, will provide a beautiful backdrop & locations for tourists and also for the GP people to go & stay. Imagine Formula 1 cars driving on the Hudson riverfront or Downtown Miami with all the Skyscrapers in the background... Yachts floating around...

Got it and you guys are correct, there aren't many F1 fans here in US.

I hope though now that there is American team entering the F1 and manufacturers really wanting it, it will happen.
I honestly believe in 2012 there will be US F1 race...

P.S. Locals in Monaco hate the GP and many of them move out of the city for the weekend. Except the F1 drivers, past & present, who live there!
