Hudson Valley Region WGI DE / Open Track Event Sept 30 / Oct 1

So I should bring snow tires for the Niagra event in Oct? That's ok. I've been snowed on at RRR and VIR. Might as well try for The Glen.

Sean, right now I am planning on being at the Summit Pt race to assist a customer and I may or may not race it. I'm on the fence because of hitting the deer last year and the fact that I don't really like the back section of the track
FOR ALL THOSE ATTENDING:
The new Harbor Inn Hotel in the center of Watkins Glen has a discount rate from Monday through Thursday for Watkins Glen car clubs. Rooms are $119 per night, and they are very nice.

Best place to stay at the Glen for that price. Nice bar and fairly good food there also. Only problem there is parking, drop your trailer at the track.

My Labor Day event at VIR got cancelled, so I'm looking for a replacement event. I was just up at the Glen with RTR for 3 days, but 2 of them were rained out. I'm considering this event, but... it's a long haul from Richmond, VA and sound like it could be kind-of chilly up there at that time of year (I hate cold weather). That being said, I already reserved a room at the Lodge, incase I convince myself to go.

Oh my....already in Glen prior two days. Must go to work but must drive but must work but must drive but........ Must resist, but how can I resist? And then there's Lou's good weather and good cheer. Arghhhhhh!
Lou and Geoffry are Borg---RESISTANCE IS FUTILE.
(Rick--does Joannie know that you're spending Sept and Oct at the track, confirming your nom de guerre, Ubiquitous Rick? Oh wait, is this the event you're taking her to the track, under the guise of a romantic room on the lake? There's a greasy crock if I've ever heard one!)

Yes, Joanie accompanies me, which is why I am staying at the Harbor Hotel.
How did you know I am greasy at the end of the track day??
