Thanks John,
Over the weekend I will post what excactly is for sale with a price.
I'm told the torque tube is worth up to $1,000 depending on condition, it will be less than that anyway .
Tomorrow night when the car is up on the lift to swap the suspension we will know the condition of the tube.

We have great shirts to promote it, too... (watch for a link on the site in the next couple days/weeks to be able to order your own)

Very sorry to read about your misfortune. I was looking forward to racing that car again. But I'm sure the new car will be just as fast. By the way, I have some left and right Firehawk decals from the early 90's that I picked up at one of the races from the Firestone dealer. They are yours if you want them. LMK

Great Job Brian!

Frank, here's some pic's of the new car that I took yesterday.
Precision is swapping over the suspension today then the car goes for extra cage work.

Note the sign my buddies put on the window net for me LOL!! They are a great bunch and I'm really happy that they can make light of the situation with me.

Gary,

Good luck getting the car sorted out, I know for a fact that car had a major re-build front to back just a few years ago.

So sad to see my car in the background under the cover and waiting for a new engine.

Is that what's keeping you out, 'Hawk? Will you be at Lightning?

Gary, talk about a quick recovery! And why do I just [I]know[I]
that you're already scouring test days?
From what I'm hearing at this end, those Firehawk S2's are a little more than spec. Are they?

I will be finding out what the differences are, it will run at 3,000 or 3,100lbs depending on the WHP. It is NOT in the stock S2 class though.

Frank,

My engine should hopefully be back in the car in a couple of weeks. It sucks that I'll miss 2 months of the season.

I plan to do the Lightening race and should be back on track early July, the latest.

I'm curious how the S2 Firehawk performs on the dyno. It's a relatively new rebuild.

Hawk, what happened to your motor?

I'm hearing that those Firehawk cars had internal engine work.
