Hi Guys - Do any of you with 996 race cars know where to tap into the car's electronics to disable the ignition & fuel pump when installing a 6-pole cut-off switch? I would hope it's as easy as the 964's which have a specific wire that's interrupted which stops the fuel and spark, and used by the Cup Cars. Hopefully someone can save me from reinventing the wheel and having to go through wiring diagrams!

I have a 6GT3 that I installed a cut off switch in a couple years back.
I wired the switch into the ground side of the MFI+DI relay's coil, I don't know if it disables the fuel pump, but it does shut the engine down.

 

I just put one in my 996 GT3. The fuel pump wire is green & white is in the bundle of wires coming out of the driver's side of the front compartment.
