E90 or E46 you would have still been slower. E46 was faster at that point in time.

Oh, I have no doubt--I was slower. Remember, I had never been at speed in that car prior to that weekend! I only mentioned the cars for context, as you were just rolling out the E90's then. Remember all the difficulties I had with the non-power assist non-ABS brakes?

Hey, anyone who can poke fun at Dave without getting an acerbic retort from him gets props in my book!

Thanks for the response, Bruce.

All of you guys who are complaining about the rules, especially the oft-mentioned camber plate rule, need to send in your proposals ASAP!

Hahaha! Nah, Larry....when someone is right, they're right. I (not the car) was definitely slower than Seth that day. And I am secure enough in my abilities to admit it!

Har har har.

Actually, on that day, it was close to true. I knew I'd be slower, having never driven the car at speed, but I figured it would be closer to a second, maybe a second and a half. Oh well.

You bet, spartacus. Actually, you can see how ****edup the LR wheel is in that picture. The RF wheel was worse.
