Default Longshot: Can Hankook RS2 tires be run backward in the dry?

The tread is clearly directional, but I've read where other directional tires are OK for reverse direction use as long as it's dry. (This allows left-to-right rotation.)

I've emailed Hankook's support line and got no response.

I'm going to NJMP in a couple of weeks and it looks like that track beats the poo out of left side tires.

Tell me about it. As a kid growing up iin the '70s I logged many hours in the third, back-facing seat of Mom's station wagon.

You can run them backwards in the dry, but only if it is not raining.

He can also run them in the rain as long as the track is dry.

With the 4 longitudinal grooves, I wonder if the sipes and the outer angled tread blocks will pump much water into the contact patch in the rain if run backwards.

Hankook finally makes the RS2 in a size I can use, might have to try them for the street.

Depends. Is he French?

Just turn them inside out for dry track use.
