Hoosier radial slick cold/hot tire pressures
looking for good baseline cod tire pressures for Hoosier radial slicks. Have previously only run DOT R&A compounds. Have to find a new set up will take tire temps to check camber but would like to get a range for tire pressure for a 911. he tire guys give you a number but they do not necessarily understand the weight distribution in a rear engined car.

I was told by Appalachian Race Tire 28-30 hot and I told them I usually gain 10-12 lbs. in a 20 minute session. They told me it was OK to start at 20 (grid weight 3470) and I did but ended up at 32 on the rears. They were calling someone else, don't know who, to get these numbers. Guess I'll need to go to nitrogen. I'm not comfortable starting at 20 with a car that heavy. Had a left rear go down and my first day of the event ended pretty quickly. Hope it's not another shoulder separation like I had with the Michelin Pilot slicks. Haven't even taken it off the trailer yet to see.

I was thinking about 19 front 19 rear cold. I will run dry air @as good as tire nitrogen this time of year. Car is 2380 at impound.
