Hi all
I am racing with PBOC on May 16 and 17th (Sebring). The car is being weighed again because I suspect something is wrong with the scales. The last time we weighed it the car was 2927. I suspect it will come in around 2800 on calibrated scales.
This car is a normal 2007 997 GT3 that has been converted to a race car.
The only mods to engine, transmission, suspension is a LWFW to transmission. That is it. It has stock transmission, engine, and suspension.

Any idea what class it will be with PBOC? I downloaded the General Competition Rules from the web site but they are dated April 1, 2008. Is this the latest copy? Can I use this to figure the class?
Any wisdom or information will be appreciated. I understand there is a process that I will go through at the track that will complete the classing process but I am anxious to figure things out. Will it be Z2?

Its virtually impossible to figure out your class using the PBOC GCR unless you have an older BMW or Porsche. I'm guessing you will be in R2 or possibly R3. Bob Varela will help you get classed. My experience is that he is usually very fare/correct about it considering all the different types of cars that run with PBOC.

I'll be there, as this event is a points round for the Florida Suncoast Chapter 944 Cup/SuperCup. Not sure if we'll be running one of the Pink Piglets or not...

I think you're going to be R2, since you have that big cup car wing on the back. I would call Dark Vader to check. It may be worth it for you to go to the stock wing which might move you back to R3. Double check also w Terry Riedel, since Bob ended up in wayyy to high of a class just because of the wing he had on the back of the car.
Tom, you are going to be screwed no matter what, you're going to be in R1 at a minimum
