Default Piloti Prototipo Sizing

I'm about to buy a pair of the Piloti Prototipo's via mail order and was wondering if anyone can provide any sizing experience versus regular street shoes/sneakers.

When trying on regular shoes, I typically end up with a 12, but I do have own a very comfortable Italian leather sport shoe which is a size 45D, which equates to a size 11.

Should I just order a size 12? Or do I need to go a little smaller?

TIA

I just got the same pair. Go for the larger size.

I wear a 13 in Nike/Reebock/Puma and Piloti's all run the same for me.

Yup, a size 11 for me is pretty consistent with a running shoe size.

If you have any Ross stores in your area, check them for the Prototipos. I purchased a pair for $20; they are the Yellow/Black versions. I normally wear an 11, but my Pilotis are 10.5s.

Crazy coicidence! My bro-in-law just saw these and got me a pair ...unreal deal! But to the point, the size is basically consistent, if not a tad smaller than a regular shoe.

IMHO, length is similar to other brands but the prototipos especially are not as wide as other shoes. I wear 1/2 larger size due to this.

Thanks everyone for the feedback.

I think I won't go too far wrong with just getting my standard size. My current Reeboks, a new pair of Asics and an old pair of New Balance sneakers are all 12's.
