Default Video of Running with Jack Baldwin @ Sebring

I had the good fortune of being introduced to Jack Baldwin Sunday morning. We got to talking about the awesome battle he had in his last race at Sebring which I happened to catch on video. He asked me what I was driving and he remembered the black Z06 from the prior day. He suggested we go out together in the first Sunday session and have some fun. We hooked up over by the Napleton rigs and after he convinced the owner to let him "borrow" his beautiful cobalt blue GT3 for a session we hit the track. This was the highlight of the weekend for me and we had a blast! Afterwards he said he had as much fun as he did in his last race at Sebring. Clearly he still enjoys this and
is an awesome driver. The guys from Napleton could not have picked a nicer guy to instruct.

I watched this session from the grand stands above the pits, and took some great photos of it... give me some time and I'll get them up on flickr.

I could tell you guys were having fun, but the tape just proves it even more.

Nice driving!

I happened to bump into Jack today at the Autobahn CC and he is still talking about this session. What a fun weekend, and a pleasure meeting you Mike.

Not that it's any of my business ... but ... I never got much out of letting someone else drive my car. Other than being impressed with the driving skill. But I already knew that. Letting someone else drive my car when I'm not even in the car myself is a real puzzler for me.

Actually it only has about 75 RWHP more than a stock Z06. But to answer your question, NO!

Your Z06 really moves around the track...great driving too. What have you done to your Z06 for the extra power and any suspension mods? Great car!

Thanks Mike. The horsepower comes from a cam, headers and air intake and it also has Moton Clubsports and T1 sway bars to help in the handling department. Still has the stock rear brakes and a street alignment since we drive them to and, hopefully, from the track.

Thanks, I do not have a Vette but I always wondered how much the fast Z06 crowd is changing on these cars. They look, sound and drive awesome. I give a ton of point by's to Z06's....I just wish they had a PDK/F1 like transmission so I could drive one.
