He is like that everywhere and in everything he drives that I have seen him in so far. I've actually been worried about him driving a few "other" cars because I thought it might throw him off but so far he is just incredible in everything !
He computes while driving at such a different level than us mortals !

Crap, this was going on while I was at the track. As usual, I was completely oblivious.

Yup. The same day that you were complaining that the track was a little slick from dust.

That was the big high tech rig that was parked just a few slots down from us in the upper paddock. When he was on the track and we could hear it but not see it, we first assumed it was some kind of motorcycle because it was going by so fast.

No, I met David & John at Roebling Road just after Joe had passed away. David and his wife were there playing with some of Joe's cool cars!!

Are you sure it was Davids wife ? Davids sister was driving Joe's cars for awhile with Redman but I didn't think Steph ever drove them.
You missed out not knowing Joe, he was a great guy.
Speaking of cool cars, did Dave have the Allard out when you were there ?

Sister...wife...whatever.

You may be right, and it was with Brian Redman, so you probably are. He had the Allard, the 906, the McLaren (which broke...twice), and some other stuff. I was a guest of someone who had an older McLaren which I drove a lot....which did not break.

Holy Toledo batman! I especially like the 3-4-5 complex. Full power going into turn 4! I wish my cajones were that big...

I'll be out at ECR for the first time in May so this video will be useful so I can see how fast I should be able to take those corners.

Yeah, those little acrobatic planes. Steve Watkins flies them and I think that's what makes him fast.
