Just to be sure, I should test your car at both tracks.

My GT3 on 295/30 Advan Neova AD07's had a 7% optimistic speedo.

Interesting because I run my shorter gears at VIR and don't top out 5th, and run my taller gears at Road Atlanta and DO top out 5th.

But that could be because with a small engine, the up and down of the back straight at VIR actually does slow it down just a tad vs. the basically flat to downhill at Atlanta. Or, that I can start out much faster at Atlanta onto the straight than VIR.... No idea what the true speed is, my speedometer isn't really accurate anyway.

Is that making 10a or going into the run-off?

In a stock C6 Z06, top speed at both tracks is about the same.

You can tickle ~ 160 mph. at both VIR & Road Atlanta.

I don't have DAS and @ ~ 160... I'm looking for my braking zone.

I can't tell you guys the speeds but Road Atlanta is the fastest track we go to with the World Challenge Touring cars. It is only about 1-2 MPH faster than Road America.

The tracks I am referring to are Sebring, Miller Motorsports Park, Road America, VIR, Mid Ohio, Watkins Glen, Laguna Seca, Mosport, etc

I would have guessed VIR. A couple 302 ford powered 914's claimed 165 mph there.

VIR has an uphill on the straight, Atlanta is downhill and seems longer (maybe not).

I got up to 163 at Atlanta last year (this year 160) and 160 last year at VIR.

I experianced the opposite in my 996 cup,six speed. At vir was on the limiter as you crest the hill on back strait with 1/10 mile or so to go.{I hate that} In Atlanta was on limiter in braking zone at 10a.
