Default What's Up w/ CDOC Contingency?

Anyone know what is going on? You can't buy the package online, they refer you to get on Mark's list, they claim to be reworking the contingency, Mark doesn't return e-mails about it.....

Is the CDOC Contingency dead?

I think so... I still had some $$ that I never used....

I asked Mark about his back in January and was told to "hold on" something would be coming. So I held off cashing some late 2008 credits to see what would happen to my January credits. I had plans for big ticket item...

I got an email back from Mark last Tuesday stating that the contingency program is being revised for 2009 and that CDOC will be sending out an announcement soon. I sure hope they don't drop it!!!!

See, everyone else is getting the same type of run around. It is April, I would assume if it were happening it already would have been implemented. Too bad, I think they run a very nice company and their support of the PCA and GRand Am races is great.

I emailed with Mark Francis last week and he said that he was waiting for buget approval from Colin.

If they are like any of the other safety supply shops, the economy has brought sales to a stand still. I'm sure they are doing their best to continue to support programs even with the slow cash flow. Never dealt with them but I know of other organizations that are really dead even in the "busy" period.

I have been hearing that since January. Sadly I think it is done for.

I know the economy is tough and all, but I would have prefered to hear the program was done in 2009 due to economics. Not great, but certainly understandable. As is stands they keep dragging it on. Too bad.

At least I get a few months to decide to keep or remove their decals for Nationals this September.

I emailed them as well, and have not heard anything.

I understand times are tough and that they may have chosen to drop the contingency program. That is not a problem. They have been a big PCA supporter for many years and that is appreciated. What I don't understand is why they just don't tell us where they stand.
