I would buy the stuff on line, much cheaper, you'll get raped jailhouse style in the city for that kinda stuff.
having said that, there is a place called manhattan motorsports, never been there, know very little about them.

Thank you all guys, it really was a longshot but I had to ask. It's a vacationtrip so I guess there is a lot of other things to visit during the week, but hey we might just stumble on the doorstep to the places you mentioned.

Best regards
Anders

I agree for just about everything except the helmets that the OP is looking to find. I need to try many different helmets to get a correct fit, which not only varies by brand, but also varies by model within the same brand for me.

If you want to try on a few at once and not hope that mail order works, then stop by Stable and see laurette. They are a wonderful group there and always have a good selection

Hey AJCJR, Where on Long Island? I grew up there - Lived in Smithtown and went to Stony Brook before moving to Tampa. Miss it at times - but love the weather here and the ladies.

Huntington Station, NY

20-25 minutes outside the city on LI

Call Victor, ask him what helmets he has in stock. You can try them on, big benefit over internet if you dont know exactly what you what.

Vas i think moved in to the same location as TKX Performance in Huntington. From Manhattan, it will take you about 40 minutes to get out to Huntington depending on time of day.. with rush hour i would factor an extra 30 minutes or so. I live two towns over in Syosset.

Another place to check out is BRM Motorsports in Amityville. I have never been there before but a kid i know is either sponsored by them or atleast very good friends with them. They are about an hour from Manhattan.
