944 Spec Racecar for rent in Midwest - DE/race/enduro
Come try out the fastest growing low cost drivers series in the Midwest in an equally reasonable rental!
In a joint venture between Ray Freundt of the new 944 Raceworks, and Nick Miller of Bennington Motor Sports http://www.BENMS.com we will now have 2 944 Spec cars available for rent. Transportation to the track, and all consumables are included, except gas. Technical support, and a extensive spares to keep you in the game will be provided trackside by Ray & Nick. In keeping with 944 Spec's clean racing philosophy, body damage will your responsibility.
These cars will be available at $900 per race weekend, $500 for the Friday comp school, and $600 for an enduro. Package discounts apply - so go in with some friends and get a screaming deal for the whole weekend - 1/3 to 1/2 off many race shop rentals of similar cars. These prices are only doable through the generous support of the sponsoring shops. Their intent is to make cars accessible to new drivers to grow the series, not to make the sponsor shops big money. One comp school spot is already taken, so don't delay. Post up interest here:http://www.nasaforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=26742, or contact: www.benms.com or 944 Raceworks @ 224.213.0523
One of these cars placed as high as 2nd/5 with a rookie driver last year, and the other one is a fresh build.
You will be eligible for contingencies like any Spec Driver. (hint - sign up with CDOC ahead of time to take full advantage of this). You could win over 1/2 your rental fees back, and even some free track time from NASA (if you drive clean!)
While I don't work for these guys, I know both of them well, and they will treat you well.

Is there a schedule of events where the rentals will be offered? At those prices I would seriously consider it, any PCA races. This is cheaper than a race weekend in my own car!

You'd have to try a NASA Midwest event - but you can get a NASA license with a current PCA license.
