Does anyone know how many cars will be allowed to register?

Obviously, Murry is a known commodity to the Porsche world but does anyone have any insight on this particular event.

Kerrigan,
This sounds pretty interesting. So I guess the Fall Fling has evolved into something better and more appealing to experienced drivers. Is there a banquet or something of that sort like in years past at the Fall Fling?
What other venues will you add to the schedule? May I suggest Road Atlanta and Watkins Glen?
Will there be in car coaching available? Data analysis and coaching?

Matt,

This a seperate event from the Fall Fling. This is something that David Murry is doing all on his own and hopes it developes where he can travel to many different tracks. We were just honored to be asked to be a part of it.

I do not know what the entry number will be capped at. I will look at the link off his web site to see if there is any helpful information. If not I will just see what I can find out from the man himself.

I went to the web site this morning, http://www.davidmurry.com

If you select the Track Days logo to the left all of the event information is there including policies and cancelations.

Default David Murry Track Days

Guys,

I'm the Chief Steward for the David Murry Track Days event at VIR in October, so I'll attempt to answer the questions already posted on the forum:

The event will be capped at 60 participants. Since we will not have run groups, the track will be green all day, both days.

In car coaching can be arranged (at additional cost) with pro drivers of David's caliber. Coaches can be hired individually or can be shared among a group of participants (4 seems to work the best).

Since David will be at the track for the entire event, he can certainly help with data analysis, setup suggestions, etc.

Matt,
I've run the Group52 events at WGI for a number of years now. Group52 runs exactly the same on-track format as we're offering for David Murry Track Days (w/o David and the pro coaches) so, if you'd like to spend a couple of days at Watkins this year, let me know.

There's a lot more information about the David Murry event on our website. Go to www.davidmurry.com and click on the "David Murry Track Days" link on the left of the home page.

You can contact me through the website or I'll be happy to answer individual questions in this forum if it's ok with admin.

Yeah, but it's your neighborhood so there's a limit to how much damage I can do! Best to Senor Instructor.
