I'd be happy to compare Road Atlanta data with you @ BMWCCA and share how I use Traqview.

Thanks, Tim.

That may get me a... "time-out".

Uh Oh! Hopefully it won't be from what I told you!

How did the event go? My buddy was there with his POS brown Mustang. It really does look like a POS, but goes like stink and handles like it's on rails. Has a 351 V8 making about 500 RWHP.

Since this was his first time out after rebuilding the engine and making several mods, he said it worked out well. It was basically a test and tune for him

He said the event was well run and he had a good time meeting new people.

Edit. I thought this was for the BMW car club event at Road Atlanta......

Another well run BMW event @ Road Atlanta.

Tom Melton is our new chief instructor, he and the gang were well organized and kept us on schedule.

Everyone played well together and we had an absolute mininium of incidents.

Thanks to all who attended.

Cya @ the track,

Trumper

Click on the event and then there is a link for racers to verify their information. This link takes you to the roster.

thanks. interesting. Used to be Ohio Indiana region (now Great Lakes) was the big GTS region. So far, they don't have 9 cars across all the classes for the April race at Mid Ohio last time I checked. I am sure it will fill up some as the date approaches though.

Hope NASA has similar weather that we had last weekend with BMW. Great event as always with I believe only one contact incident (white GT3 bumper scuff in turn 5). Sorry I did not get to talk with the Rennlist faithful more, as we all were quite busy with 2 students each.

Chris & Dave, it was fun running with you in I group. There were more 993 variants then usual at RA which is good to see. Dave, post some video if there was anything noteworthy. Jenk12, awesome car & driver combo, I need one of those. Enjoyed meeting you as well, thrilling ride, wish they were all that way.

I was spent both Sat & Sun eve as I had a very fast A (GT3) and C (ZO6) rides in addition to my group. Looking forward to the next one...

That was a good time wasn't it? There were WAY more P-cars than I expected.....nice to see. And of course me a bunch of RL'er's so that was good to be able to face the name. Not a single person seemed to have captured my Danny Sullivan at 5 on Saturday and I was equally pissed that I didn't get the corner worker prize for best save whats a guy got to do?

Chris, I was right behind you and witnessed the "spin to win" in turn 5. Not to encourage this type of thing, but it was sweet. Testimonial that if you are on line you tend to stay on the track surface. Looked like too much power just past the apex, combined with cold tires...

The best part was, never stalled, just dropped it into second gear & off at a good clip. A few turns to see if all is well & back on pace.

All the corner worker prizes went to my friend with the old Alpha, mostly for bravery. Low 1:50's in a crap wagon is impressive.
