You cross start finish backwards with 10 MPH more when the ice is there. Don't ask me how I know. ;-)

And to answer the Turn 11 question the picture is showing T11 and the entry to T12. T11 is the section going under the bridge. This dates back to the old course at Road Atlanta when the dip was there. The bottom of T10 was the braking point for most cars and they would brake up the hill to T11. They added T10a and T10b in 1997 for the first Petite LeMan race after a bad accident in T12 the year before. This slowed the cars down cresting the hill. They kept the numbers the same on the track and that is why T11 is still the Suzuki Bridge.

Trivia: Does anybody remember what the bridge name was before it was the Suzuki Bridge?

No one really pays attention to 11 anyways even though it's a major turn, because if you're off by a little bit it kills your straight speed. And besides as soon as you crest that hill (11) your into 12 even though it's at the bottom of the hill. It's almost like one big turn anyways.

Yeah, but I meant 1:40's using all 12 corners.

Hey guys,
See ya'll at RoadA this weekend. Can't make it for Friday test and tune but will be there Sat and Sun. Will be there for the club race. Have to miss NASA. And no Seth, I don't remember the name of the bridge. After the dip, I was always petrefied by turning in and aiming for the brifge abuttment and then closing my eyes until the car crested the hill under the bridge. Glad they reconfigured the track under the bridge but I miss the dip. Have fun at the Irish Pub. Let me know if everyone is going out Saturday night. I think even Dan is coming up Sat.

Even my little 4-banger can go sub 1:40 If PCA and Hoosier would ever get together and get a contingency program going I'd come over and kick some GT4S butt.

Well....you'e the exception. The rest of them can't go that fast, even with a tailwind down the back straight!
