Scott, thanks for the additional info. You are definitely right about coaching. Having the right equipment is important . . . but knowing how to use it is even more important!!
Regarding my car, the guy who built it (Bruce Phillips) ran it at Laguna Seca a few times. He actually built two cars that look nearly identical. One (identified as #22) is powered by a twin turbo 962 engine and the other (identified as #20) a normally aspirated 3.4 liter engine. The 962 powered car was sold to a buyer in South Africa and I bought the other one late in 2007. Now I just have to learn how to drive it . . .
