The tires should not inflated be over 45 lbs per Performance Trailer . Also the tires were probably low because the trailer has been outside in the sub freezing temps. What did I hit with the trailer Stuart ? I'd like to know where you are getting this incorrect info from. I stand behind everything I sell. It was pre purchased inspected and there were no issues. I have the keys that I am fed-exing today by the way. Also as for the spare having a plug....who hasn't gotten a nail in a tire. It was plugged and patched and has not leaked a pound in a year. You have 2 new tires on that trailer. Don;t wast your money on 4 new ones.

Duro tires are very good too, very expensive. Custom Truck and Trailer in Morristown sells them. I had those put on my old open trailer.

i don't know what the tires hit but the bubbles are on the side walls.and yes you are correct that the trailer was inspected by me and at the time i didn't notice any problem with the tires. so no big deal ,i just need now to upgrade to a new set of tires.

It is really easy to scrape the curb when pulling the trailer up to a space on the street. The tires can get weak, and you may not notice sidewall damage. I've used Marathons, and I've had some delaminate, and some bubble on the sidewalls (probably my fault). I'm glad the thread was started. I'll look for these Maxxis tires next.
