Ho Ho Ho, you're about to exit the chair lift. Be prepared for the slippery slope!

Good point Bryan. It's a complete mystery.

So, R3 question.... How well will it work on stock 3-point belts with airbag? How much protection will I get from side/offset/rear impact?
In that setting you don't need any product. The airbag is designed to handle frontal impacts, and nothing works in side impacts w/ 3-points -- especially with road racing seats.

Save your money.

So, without racing seats, will a side window net still help me?

Also, if I get racing seats, does it mean the effectiveness of airbag or the benefit of airbag will be diminished?

I have been using the R3 for about 5 years now. I do not use the "pad" in any of the seats.
I tried the the "pad" and I found that uncomfortable and not needed in my Recaro and Sparco seats.

So I guess I'm a "naked" R3 user. I suggest you guys try it if you are having issues. I can not even tell its there.

It certainly can't hurt, although you need to deal with the egress issue.

No.

Someone should put together a slippery slope progression list. Without giving the subject an ounce of thought, it probably goes something like this:

1. Helmet
2. Harness w/shoulder belts (4-point to start)
3. Head and neck restraint (if it connects to the belts)
4. Seat
6. 6 point harness
