Dave, Did I hear that you are not bringing a car to H2R? Does that mean we'll have to put off a ride (again) with the (in)famous VR until the fall?

Correct. Due to the logistics issues of instructors with trailers, it didn't make sense for me to bring the car just for a one day event. I have driven my car there, but not on Saturday.

Why don't you come to TWS in February for the LSR event and we'll do it then?

Ah the wonderful wait list. Have you considered a bribe? LSR sells out in a few days. A couple of events last year had run groups sell out in just hours. I'm instructing in Feb. but I'll still try to setup the camera so people can watch.

Last night while I was typing "waitlisted" an email came in saying I was confirmed.

At TWS a good place to watch the driving is at the end of the breaking area by turn 3. Put the camera on a tripod. you can let it broadcast cars coming from T2 int T3 for a while then turn it and get T4, Then you could move it down the other end and catch T9 and T10.

I'm thinking at the club race I'll put it in the hot pits and broadcast T15 and the main straight. If my connection isn't fast enough the track's wifi is right there that I can tap into as well.

Just out of curiosity, what is the temperature supposed to do on Saturday. The local weather station says the warm front doesn't arrive until Sunday.
