I just realized that you're talking about the white corvette.

Bet he didn't see you coming, either.

So does this mean that you'll be changing your Rennlist name again? From Caygirl to Blondurant, to... what?

Hmmm... a girl in a cup car....
How about DeeCUP, the member formerly known as Blondurant and Caygirl?
If she has a female student, it could be Two girls and a CUP

There's nothing I like more than the letter of the law - love it VR!

BTW, Blondurant, the cup cars are a lot of things, mostly much faster than a
GT3, but they are definitely not more durable than a GT3. I've got 20,000 track miles on my GT3, total cost to run all those miles is pretty low - somewhere in the $15-20K range (excluding tires)

I have 6000 miles on my Cup car, and excluding the time my ego couldn't move the concrete out of the way, I've bought more than a GT3 in maintaining the car. It's a real race car, and I say go for it, they are nothing but fun to drive, but you have to pay the bills and do the regular maintenance before things break, because they will break and you don't want that to happen at the speeds these cars go.

Marilyn, I'm sure you are already doing this, but I'll mention it anyway. Talk to guys like Glen and Barry and Jay W and others that have or had cups based out at MSR. Great bunch of folks and their experience would be helpful in your decision of whether or not a cup is right for you. Especially talk to Todd at Topp Racing. He is the cup car guru out there and a hell of a nice guy.
