Great video! I didn't count the camera angles, but it was up there with full network coverage. Very nice.
I didn't recognize the car you were dicing with, but he seemed to have a little more engine than you. Nice racing.

Yeah, well, as a past SC champ, you would be well versed in the Turbo vs S2 issue. He the former, me the latter. It's painfully obvious that the turbos outgun us, but I think I'm ok with that. Which do you run?

I run a TurboS. Both Turbo & NA have their advantages, but they are different. I spent an entire season battling a guy in a 944NA body with a 968 engine. That damn thing could pull me on the start every time, and out of corners too. Instant torque is a big advantage for NA powered cars. By the end of the season I was up by 6 points in 300! Now THATs close racing.

Well, it seems that the bar will be raised for next year in NE SC, as we've got some guns coming in. I only joined late last season (still grabbed ROY) but I'm really looking forward to next season. I realize I'm going to have to drive somewhat harder than my previous PCA class demanded.

One difference you might notice in Cup racing is that the guys tend to know who is in which car. I've had a few races starting at the back of the pack over three seasons, and the NA guys generallly let the SC cars through unless they are in a tight dice for position with another NA car. I PCA racing, it can sometimes be a bit of a battle to get through traffic.

Interesting, and one thing that also interests me about SC is that now I'm back in a series, not individual stand alone events. Gonna be interesting, that's for sure, and with two new tracks here in NJ.
But, we'd better watch it:

If you have a data logger, and would like to overlay your data over your video, then take a look at www.trackvision.net.
Should you get it? Every home should have one.

I have used Pinnacle Studio for years without any problems both with my chasecam and 2 other cams :-)
As I run 3 cameras in the car (Front, Rear, Splitter)...
I also use Trackvision which is very cool too...

The new version has some nice tricks for guys who are using PIP to include a second camera view. The dashboards are now both movable and scalable. Put 'em where you want 'em and make 'em the size you want too. Won't be long now - just a couple of beta bugs to flatten.
