Joseph,

I'm sure you know all the guys I'm sandwiched in between in this pic. It's one of my favs.

Let's see: Matt, me, Vern (was from OK), Scott and Chris (OK)

When I was senior in High School (1974) I would ride my street legal Penton 125 Six Day (on knobby tires with Preston Petty lights no less!) to school. All the guys who rode Yamahas and such thought I was nuts - "you paid $1125" for a 125?" And of course they had no idea what a potent woods weapon it was.

LOL - $1125 - when I was 17 that was a LOT of money!

I can't remember the last time I heard the word "Penton"

Kev,

It looks like a good field for the 993 cups. It will be fun to see how the old car does. Do you know what number or name it is registered under? Does it still have the same color scheme?

I did pro R/C racing for a couple of years. Made me feel like Penske; running a two car team, buggy and truck. Setup issues were so real; spring rates, shock oil, tire treads and compounds, engine and electric tricks, transponders, the real deal, and safe!
