which wheels are lightest for racing??

I checked with Donna @ PCA and those are the numbers (8 & 9), maybe some folks are skirting the rules. It's hard to determine width without removing the tire.
I've been looking into the PCA racing rules as well and heard the same rule about 1" higher. However I've heard and seen many cars that are indeed on 8.5 and 10 x 18s.

Ok, So I've been doing some research. Here is what I've found:

http://www.wheelweights.net/ : Click on wheels by weight to see a 54 page pdf list.

http://www.944racing.de/reload.php?u...ngewichte.html : click on Felgengewichte to see pictures and wheel weights. You can also translate this wheel section into English. The weights are in kilograms.

I'm thinking about CCWs myself.
