I was there for part of the weekend meeting a couple of guys I was going to coach. We didn't get in much action though as the weather kept us from really focusing on going fast. Thank goodness they had a motor home there for us to hang out in otherwise it would have been worse. Glad all the Rennlisters survived and had a good time. Maybe next time the weather will be better for us all to meet up.

I am doing the NASA 8 hour race this weekend and after that I am not sure. Probably going to be at Sebring for PBOC Winterfest and whatever else pops up after that. When is your next event?

I went up Friday afternoon, teched in and took the car off the trailer. Sunday afternoon I got the ramps out and put the car back on the trailer. That was the extent of the exercise for my car. I have raced in the rain, done DE's in the rain and even did Bertil Roos' school in the rain many years ago. I don't enjoy the rain anymore. Had my fill, so I don't even own any rain tires. Michelin slicks don't like the rain either.

Had a good student with a good teachable attitude so the weekend was still fulfilling. Got him signed off to Blue Sunday so he was happy.

Thanks joyride!

Seth, I thought I saw you there Saturday morning, but I never saw you again.

Were you all playing on the skidpad at the bottom of the paddock or up inside turns 6 and 7?

I really wanted to see your beast run on the track~
Was hoping for Sunday to clear up enough for the really fast cars to come out and play.
Can't wait to get back on Road Atlanta soon!

I'm going to try it again this weekend with NASA. Are you participating? If the wx is decent there will still be the problem of cold ambient and cold track. My tires are designed to run at 65 ambient or above so it's going to be hard to build heat for most of the laps in those little 20-minute sessions.
