lift hydraulic fluid change interval
How often do folks here with a garage lift (single, 2 or 4 post) change the hydraulic fluid?
Is there a recommended interval, based on time or # of lift cycles?

I emailed Rotary Lifts this question and got this answer back (in less than 15 minutes....pretty good customer service)
You should be checking the fluid level to make sure that it is staying at the full level, and if you have to refill it and top it off you will want to check your hoses and such for leaks.
As far as completely changing the fluid out we would recommend doing this if then you have to top it off you are mixing ATF with 10 Weight Hydraulic Oil, we would just prefer you use ATF (depending on the age and model of your lift, this may vary).
It is not a completely set standard of time as to when to change it out, but anywhere from every 3 to 5 years would be a good start, but it should not be necessary to do it more often than that.
