Side note - the dood driving the Mini in the vid needs HELP. His lines are terrible.

+1. The shuffle steering and poor lines was killing me.

the outcome of this could have been so much worse, hopefully the driver will heal up good and the track will put up a tire barrier or something

Glad he is ok, hopefully he heals quickly.

... This is just further proof that FWD is the work of the devil.

It looks like someone set off a bottle rocket up into the playground stands!

That poor guy. Ive never seen that there before!

by the way, the lines at first glance are hideous, until you see that he is fighting off a lot of overtaking cars. I like the nudge he gave that one guy at turn 8 (2:40ish in the video) before he let him by.

I was going to ask about the lines of the Mini.

I would have thought that a Mini could have held its own against a Civic Si.

Which Mini and which Civic Si? We have no idea as to the level of modification or the level of driver in each car. I would have thought a 996 RSR with a Lemans podium in it's past history could hold it's own against a club racing M3 at Barber, but that's not always the case.

That noise is a wonderful thing called a supercharger.
