Not sure yet Tim. It's a long haul and NASA is starting in Feb as well. I'm thinking seriously about going for the GTS4 nationals next year. The car can def do well if I can get my skills up a little.

VIR in Feb. has got to be COLD!!!! Im towing to Sebring from Baltimore which I think is about twice as far as Savanah. It really would be nice to have you there!! How much does your car weigh? Mine's in the shop getting preped for next season and Im going to start to try and get some wieght out so I too can be ready for NASA.

Holy crap Tim that is one serious tow. You are looking at a 15-20 hour tow! IIRC, that's about 900-1000 miles from DC. That is definitely a track that I would pay for transport. My towing limit is about 3-4 hours.

Hey Dell,
We try to make a "road trip" out of it. Im not sure how many we'll have this year but a couple of years ago we had something like 9 guys trailering down together!!! If I cant drum up some more GTB guys I might just have to bring the 964

With me in it, 1/4 tank of fuel and cool shirt sys, it's right at 2990. But, I'm 225. Just did some bigger brakes, so it may weigh a little more. I'll do my best to be there...depends on this crappy economic situation.

Rog, who you running with in Feb? MidAtl or SE? I have been on the fence about running NASA. Just don't want to break the bank between PCA and VIR member days.

It will be SE..they are doing CMP. I'll probably do some mid atl later in the year at VIR, as I don't think SE goes there. But, I'm going to look at PCA at the same time and go for the most cars in class and weigh the cost differences. I'm budgeted this year for certain. What class will your car be in NASA?

If i run, it will be with Mid-Atl as they mostly do VIR. I am pretty sure my class would be GTS3.

i dynoed the car at TH and my 3.4L got 274wHP. with the flash i may get another 10 wHP.
the 3.4L engines normally make round 255~260wHP and the 3.6L engines make 280~285 wHP.

the BMW M3s keep making power past 7K rpm and has an ~8K rpm redline. porsche engines might be able to do the same if the right cams and the same redline.

I think the weights were near the same too.

Wow. I learned a lot about GTB with this post!

Can any of you see a pic of Terry's car? I can't see it in the OP.

No pics there either. We just talked, and he said he'd send some tonight. Just didn't know if I was missing something. No worries.

Yeah, I know... I'm all over the board.

What modification did you already perform that gave you this dyno result?
