I'd bet GMG will still be running cupcars, this car appears to be one of the KPax cars - Kpax is switching to Volvos next year and GMG probably bought their Porsche stuff.

It would be good to see Volvo back, but they just announced they are laying off 25% of their workforce and a big loss.

I have seen some of the parts for the cars and I do know that Volvo will be back in World Challenge. I do not know if it is a factory effort but I do know who the team is but I can't say. The carbon work on the cars is awesome looking though.

IIRC it was the gearboxes that were the weak link the last time around.
