That's a pretty condescending tone. As if you know what qualifies as an excellent driver. I hate tone on the internet.

BTW, that has nothing to do with it. In all reality, I'm a pretty ****ty driver. Actually, we all are. Its just that some are a little less ****ty than others. We are by no means close to any of the true pros. Could we get there? Yes. But let's face it, we don't spend enough time on the track (weekend warriors).

Oh, brother.

FYI, nobody in this thread was talking about working pros, were they?

Yanked your chain!!!!! Damn I'm good.

Off to grab a beer and a hair cut. BTW, do they have a Knockouts in Austin? It's like Hooters but for haircuts. Plus they give you free beer.

I think Glen turned a :45 in his 996 Cup. When I turned my :46, I was on old rubber & showed up that day just to run the Enduro. A 6 or 7 Cup on stickers should be in the :44 to :45 range.

We have a few PCA guys that are pro worthy & Chris is definitely one of them IMHO.

I was happy with the :46 since I was in my lowly '00 Cup with a measly 335 hp. TWS came after a really good previous season for me though with lots of seat time to keep me current. 6 events with 8 podiums & at some big events (Daytona, Road America, etc.) It was a good year! Damn, that was a great old car

PS: Dave, you know you are one of only 3 other guys I ever let drive it. George was on the list but we never had a chance although he did drive my 993 Cup. Man, that seems like A LONG time ago!

I had gotten pretty damn good & very comfortable in the old girl after that great '06 season. Hell, I turned a :58 @ Daytona & came in second out of 30+ Cups. I was the only guy anywhere near the top in a low powered early car. Great event & everything was just clicking. Just shows how important seat time really is

But...but...but...according to some extremely insecure juvenile assclowns in this thread, there is no way you or your car could turn those times!

+1 on your last sentence.
