Teknosha makes a good one. I use the P3 and have had good luck with it.

Just for the record, and the searches, it is TEKONSHA. Their Prodigy controller is a good unit.

Get solid state and not the older style that takes a long time to perfectly level it.

BTW, mine is somewhere around 8-10 yrs old now and seems as good as new. I even get compliments on the trailer at the track. Yeah, the trailer!! (I wonder if that says anything about my driving ...oh well, can't blame that on you).

my trailer has brakes on only one axle of the the two. It has never been an issue.
