If it weren't for the trophies and prize money I'd probably stop doing DE's

WTF!!!!!

What I'd like to see is people making a rational and mature decision before they click on the link for a BostonDMD thread. If you are willing to take what is there predominantly at face value and participate in a reasonably constructive manner, by all means click away. If you are one of the habitual bashers, GET THE F OVER IT and STAY THE HELL OUT.

Have you nothing better to do with your time? By your repeated negative participation, one must assume not. For the benefit of the rest of us, PLEASE FIND SOMETHING.

Yeh... I was looking for the close driving too. On the flip side, close driving safely depends on many things, not the least of which is knowing well who you are doing it with.

I love when they offer a DE day as a Test and Tune day before a CR weekend. Not.

What do you enjoy the most out of a DE,
and how do you prevent it (after so many DE days) from becoming monotonous or boring?

{Flame suit in on}
Perhaps rephrase as 'chasing around another car(s) in relatively close proximity?

I can see a few responses that were off topic, but none that appeared to be "bashing". The ones that made recommendations or pointed out issues all seemed to be offered as constructive criticism. The rest just seemed to be wise cracks (intended to be humorous or entertaining). If all of those were taken at face value as well, what would be left over?

PCA National requires T&T be run as DEs. Sounds odd to me but that is the policy.

I and plenty of others gave you some true answers. Zoom in hard on details that require strong focus and/or become an instructor and the like. There are plenty of guys that both DE and race. The OP was a good question and it was garnering some good answers. Your thinly veiled bragging about following close is where folks are having boisterous fun with you. Perception changes as you advance. What you think is boast worthy might not be to some others and they are only making fun of your continued hubris. Not bragging will assure you of not getting made fun of.
This is the crop you planted.

BTW. Editing the OP and removing video links then things don't go as planned is poor form.
