Yoko choice, Advan AD07 vs AO48 for DE
I know that there are many choices of tires for what I want to do.
But
I have decided to try one of these tires.
If they work well, great, I’ll let you know.
If they suck, I’ll let you know.
Please don’t say use Kumho, or MPSC, or Toyo, or ????????
Application = 3,300 pound C4S being driven by a neophyte as I go through the P.O.C. “TT / DE” learning curve. 99.9% of driving will be in the dry.
Primary track will be Streets of Willows.
I’ll probably be driving on these tires to the event, (~200 miles RT)
Front camber = -1.5 degrees
Rear = uncertain till after alignment
If anyone has a specific reason to choose one over the other please let me know.
It seems likely that the AD07’s would wear “better” and last “longer”.
I’m willing to give up some maximum grip if longevity is increased 20% or so.
also, please see a related thread i started regarding R's vs Streets for newbies, one of many i know

Thanks
