Howdy folks...
It's been awhile since my last update on the project.
Status as of 10/13/08: I have been waiting for parts and suspension bits for a good while now. Some of the parts I am interested in are not yet available. More to come when they are![Wink](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
The interior is pretty much complete. I finished the center console and fabricated a Carbon fiber center cover with toggle switches. Works great. Wiring up the switches is next up. Once the wiring is complete the roll bar plates get welded in. More to come on that. I decided to cut the budget a bit a shoot for an OG Racing roll bar. I wanted a full cage, but with the recent economy crash, I want to take my time and at least have a roll bar.
Overall, the OG bar seems to be a very nice fitting piece. Well made overall. But I am NOT liking the way they mount the bar. The nut plates look like a monkey welded them. And not only that, you have to drill 1" holes in your chassis to weld them in place (I am not a big fan of that). So, I am fabricating new plates that are to be welded in place of theirs. Stay tuned.
The Exterior begins:
Can you say CARBON FIBER! That's right. A Rennlister gave me a great deal on set of front Carbon fiber fenders. They are in GREAT condition and I am getting ready to have them painted in the next couple of days. Amazing the weight difference.
Here are the photos so far:

At the moment, I just want to get a suspension on the car and then hit the track.
