Yes, they can be drilled.

It is very simple to do but many people have a shop that does a lot of them do it for them.

It takes about 15 minutes.

your can buy an anchor set and it will come with installation instructions and measurements...you might want to check with Bell (or a local helmet shop) and see if they think that model can be retrofit...

Please keep in mind that some helmet manufacturers will consider the helmet warranty null/void if the helmet is modified (drilled) for HANS anchors (since the helmet was homologated in it's non modified (drilled) form).

Newer helmets are now available predrilled for HANS anchors, thus avoiding the warranty/homologation issue.

A moot point perhaps (similar to voiding the warranty due to custom paint), but just 2 cents from the cheap seats.

Default Drilling a helmet for Hans anchors

You can also view how to measure and drill the helmet for a Hans device - the directions can be downloaded from their website at www.hansdevice.com. Click on resources and download the quick start guide.

Some Hans dealers offer free helmet anchor installation with the purchase of the device so it's up to you.

I have the same helmet and it came pre drilled! I just removed 2 black plastic plugs and then bolted in the anchors!
