This is the first 1/2 of my second race ever. Second half coming soon. That's when it all goes wrong . . .

What's that old saying in racing about not being able to win a race in the first corner but.......

BTW, doesn't the orange D car get a good start against me and the 944 turbo to his right

Streak,

Looks really really good, first timer or not. You lined up a nice pass on the black 911, and had a very good instinctual code brown avoidance move on the Toga car. Good work!

Thanks. It was a tremendous amount of fun and the black car actually gave me some advice to use in the enduro on re-passing someone if they get in side on a turn and swing wide. I used it twice. Really exciting stuff.

I definitely need to learn some more race craft. Particularly patience on the straight. I was too DE like by jumping out early on the straight as if I'd gotten a point by rather than use the draft. It's really hard to pass someone if they don't want to be passed.

I got schooled on the starts too That was some scary **** the first few times!

As far as the Toga car. I kept waiting to see which way he was going to roll and then just dove off. Everyone else went inside and stayed on track dammit! I didn't know how to get back on the track so I just drove around until I was sure I wouldn't get hit! The wipers looked cool too  I had gotten up to 14th place too But that's racing! I've always wanted to say that.

I just don't think I can go back to DE.

I might have on the restart in Sprint 2. Tried to brake boost, but going too slow in 3rd. Green flag dropped and I went backwards . . . ..

Sorry about spinning in front of you Streak and messing up your race.
I had problem with my rear brakes locking up. Glad there was no contact, good save.

No problem at all. Truly. I was just glad to be racing.

It all happened this weekend. Good for a rookie. Spins, dust, anti-freeze, deer. All of it. Good learning experiences.
