My favorite driver of all time. Mika let his driving do the talking. Humble and fast are a great combination.

I really like that photo (have two versions of it), that's the photo that made Hakkinen to change his signature by adding a "Flying Finn" under his name.

BTW, here's the first "Flying Finn", Hannes Kolehmainen who won 3 gold medals and broke 2 World Records in 1912 Olympic Games.

Agreed. A friend of mine used to race Formula Atlantic when Mika did. Of all the drivers who made it big, Mika was the most gentlemanly. He even brought my friend cookies one race because the previous race my friend had offered him some.

It seems like that doesn't happen anymore.

Ah, great "Paroni" (Baron in Finnish), Jarno Saarinen.
I visited his grave this past summer since my dear friend, best man & motocross buddy was buried very close to Jarno.
(He's buried in a beutiful old graveyard in my hometown Turku, Finland.)

Definitely one of the best ever, and Trulli certainly knows who he is!
