Its such a great chasis for this class and you guys did a fantastic job building it out.
Yep , that was me. That was the first race weekend out for the 996, second time out ever, and it got even faster at Mid Ohio. I still believe there is another couple seconds of easy development in the car which we will be working on.

Is it a GTS2 specific car or a crossover?

I will do it if it is offered. So far neither NASA or ECR has confirmed that they will have a test day. Have you heard anything different?

It's my old PCA stock class 944 that I am converting into a GTS2 and then possibly GTS3 if it can get close to the times it (or I) need to be competitive.
I am targeting a real low weight so I don't have to go crazy with the hp, but we will see.
It won't really be set up to run in any other class although I guess it could pretty easily fall into a few. The target is really more specific to NASA GTS series.
It might even make a great enduro car, light weight, easy on gas tires, brakes, pretty fast.
I like the GTS rules because they are straight hp to weight ratio so I can do almost anything I want to the car.

Ok, details worked out.
I understand it to be $200 for the whole day, $100. for the half day, and you can sign up at the Eagles Canyon website.

Great. Thanks for the note.

It now appears I wil not be going to Daytona that weekend. So, if anyone would like some private coaching on the Friday test day, please contact me privately.

I wish I was going to make it but I'm coaching my sons football team. I'm really looking forward to running that track.
You guys have fun and stay safe.

I'll be there late Friday to put Dave's notes to the test for a couple hours, then I will run both ST races Saturday, but I won't be there Sunday.

I understand that they've completely repaved the portions of the track that were less than optimal. Should be great weather, and a good time.
