Agree, and I was torn between it and the Glen Race with NASA but between Summit and the Glen i'll take the Glen every time. My guess is by next year Summit will be a mess again, but if not I may be there..

No. The track was fully repaved in November of last year. By spring it became clear that a few problem sections had delaminated. These areas have been reguarly patched with softer material , which tended to break up before your eyes. These are the areas that were ground down and repaved with quality polymers and aggregates jsut this week.

Our final 2007 DE was after the November repave. Lap times were a good two seconds faster than anyone could remember being set previously. We should be back to that condition again after this work.
