Bob, I'm all registered for both the DE at the beginning of the month and the CR at the end of the month with Colony Inn booked!!!! I'm ready to hit CMP

I noticed that last year there was also a "handicap" in addition to the sprints and enduro. Is that going to happen again?

Joey Bagadonuts, Banzaisan and I are thinking of make the drive down. Since we are coming from Chicago, I figured we would stay in Lancaster instead of Camden. Has anyone stayed at the Jameson Inn? comments? Any other recommendation?

Don't know anything about it at all other than we pass by it on the way down from Charlotte. And while Camden is further down than Kershaw, it's the only place for miles around that has ANY type of places to eat, buy stuff you need, etc.
What class do you guys run in? do you run F or G with your 964?

Depends on the number of racers we get. Last year, we were able to squeeze 4 races into the weekend!! One on Friday (in addition to the Fun Race), 2 Saturday - one of which was a "loonacy" race with reverse handicapping, and the enduro on Sunday. so much racing we were wall worn out by the end of the weekend. - heck isn't that what we're out there to do - RACE?

Vicki Ernshaw is our steward, so it depends on what she wants to do with who we get. It was a lot of fun, and the new T&S system they have makes it work even better now.

Oscar, Joe, and Dave it's definitely worth the trip. CMP isn't one of the big name tracks but it's really fun and the runoff room is almost the same as Putnam. I haven't even driven the new configuration but I hear it's even better now. Here's some video of Astroman (2nd poster on this thread) on the new configuration back in June.

Here's some in-car of the new layout when I was there back in March when I checked out the new layout for the first time.

Looks like a fun track. Also sounds like the Carolinas region knows how to throw a good party. Looking forward to it.

Here I thought Road America was my last race for this year but Oscar and Joey talked me into it. Now I can't wait!

Thanks for the videos! If anyone has any tips on the track, please send it to me and not to Oscar or Joey!

See you guys soon.

A couple of us NE types were going to go but why o' why does it have to be on Halloween? That is a sacred holiday in my house. No hope of getting out.
