It's sad year for racers worldwide.
First, Paul Frere
Then, recently Phil Hill.
Now, Paul Newman soon...
Godspeed to all my racing heroes!

In 1997 I saw Him In the pits of Road America track next to David Letterman and Mario Andretti, wearing dark sun shades and baseball hat, looking into the monitor and communicating with the team(Cart series). He looked so skinny (the word was He stayed slim to fit in the cockpit of a Cart car).It was such an expirience to be so close to a living legend!!!(I was raised in Europe knowing Him from the movies when I was a kid).Later on I learned how good of a person He is for everyone in need.World is going to loose a true Gentleman and a scholar-how sad!!
