I didn't. But then again I have no concept of what "black" is out here. We just do events like what's coming up Monday--track open for 7 hours, go out and drive. Be extremely courteous no matter if you're 30 sec/lap quicker or slower than who you're encountering. Practice bump drafting your SM or Spec E30 with your buddy. We're just so inclusive in CA!
Well I suppose I should jump in. Dave, you were AWESOME!!! My best green student ever. You just got it and I enjoyed every run session more and more. We only felt the PSM come on once and we learned from it, so no harm no foul. I wouldn't worry to much about that list as you still have way more car then any of us could ever drive (but I do think you should order that 997 TT and I will be happy to instruct you in that ). I think the main thing for you is seat time and and continuing to enjoy your car and your new friends!
I do think you need to work on giving the passing signal as we never had to give it once in two days ! Looking forward to seeing you in October my friend!!!!
OK, who is the next newbie! MTOSI perhaps?
Thanks for the kind words Jay....it's all in the teaching master!
Coochas. when you go to PSDS at Barber you are going to learn somuch and become such a better driver. When you go back to you local DE's you will start to advance quickly. Hopefully at your PSDS Daniel Eastman and Peter Litzenberger will be teaching. They are awesome!
I'm really looking forward to that trip: you hear nothing but good comments from people who've gone.
