I am 6' 2"and my son is 6' 3", I am using an Autopower roll cage with Momo seats. You will need to get a quick disconnect steering wheel for ease of entry and more importantly for quicker egress in the event of an emergency.

one thing no one has mentioned yet is that with a custom cage you are more likely to get a better fit to be able to weld the cage to the A/B pillars for ultimate rigidity.

Chad PM sent, my car is up at J-3 prepping for the Peachstate DE this weekend. Martin and Todd engineered the bar and did Hal's (the 968). Check it out if you have a chance.

HI Chris.

Thanks for the PM. I actually saw your car in person today. David knew I was looking for one and gave me a call. Good looking bar. I may actually have Martin custom fab me one as well.

Great 924S BTW... beautiful example.

Martin takes all of the glory but Todd does the work!! The bar is slick but did you see the sway bars?? Martin engineered those too and Todd did the fab work, true artisans. Thanks for comps, fun little car. You coming up to RA this weekend?

Chad, don't know if you saw my car at J3 (red 944, #55). Martin may have put it in the other side of the building for storage. I have a custom cage by Kinetics - may give you some ideas. I'm 6'2", 220 lbs. and will be working with Martin to revise the seat location/window net mounts for more room. A custom cage will be tucked tight and give you all the room you are going to get in the car.

Yes, Todd is the welding artist - ask Martin and he'll fess up to that.

Chris, your S is immaculate, can't believe you track it!

I saw those sways as well. Martin was just finishing putting them on the car. Very nice! If the weather is nice, I'll stop by RA. Otherwise, I'll be working on the S2.

Have fun out there and keep the shiny side up.
