Hutchinson Island Track Reopening

For those of you not familiar with Hutchinson Island or the track - you may want to visit:

P.S. This track is counter-clockwise.

Haven't a clue Peter - but if they put the tennis courts in - it's great for that Rennlister venue we've been talking about on the I have to give up DEs thread.

It is going to be interesting in October seeing what the Hilton Head Concours will do with it. I've been there -- it's scary. There is no run-off. They promise all the barriers will be back up for October (I see they've added some bright yellow ones since my last visit) -- but if there isn't a barrier to crash into, then there is about a 45 degree angle to roll your car over... that is, should you fall off the track.
If you've been there for the Buccaneer's AutoXs then -- you probably have a better layout of the land then most. I still wonder where they will put cornerworkers - and how many cornerworker stations? Also, they are inviting the public to come watch (for a fee naturally) -- where will they put them?
Rennlist Fun Weekend - Driver Ed on Local Track, 18-holes of Golf, Tennis tournament -- oh, and I'm sure we can get the Civic Center to put on another Gun Show for us!
Come join us in October - we are thinking of putting up a tent (for shade, cause we know there is none there) and bring a large cooler.... and watch the fun begin.
