We couldn't have asked for a better weekend weather wise - mid 80's and low humidity at RA in August
I ended up having mechanical problems on both Friday and Saturday, I managed to get in most of my race on both days before retiring. Saturday was interesting as my lower radiator hose decided to fail, putting me into a very fast spin halfway through T1. Luckily the spin with up the hill and away from both walls.
Sunday's race was great, I qualified 2nd behind Drew and was in 2nd when the track went red. Got a terrible start on the restart and David got a fantastic one (note to self - get a radio ). I ended up in 3rd and had a great time.

Wow....carnage and red flags in a NASA Road Atlanta event....craziness.

Sounds like it was a good weekend. Congrat's Roger on winning your class and posting a killer time. You are deffinatley getting the hang of the new car. The GTB guys will have fun chasing you around daytona for the PCA race.

Wow Roger great times. Congratulations.
My weekend ended early with transmission problems leading to a missed shift so not only do I get the opportunity to freshen the transmission I can do the engine too

No doubt...I'm definitely feeling a radio set up for Christmas!
Thanks Keith. Sorry to hear about the car. I'm sure you'll be back "on the horse" soon.

This is what happens when a radiator hose breaks going into T1 at RA And yes, I was able to drive out of the trap and pull over to the wall.

I just saw those Tim. NASA is really cool about putting up pics of the event. Looks like you're just headed for the beach...
