I'll be a happy camper if I can get my rear out the door by noon on Friday. What time is our first on-track Friday night?

I'll be there on Friday as well. Not sure what time I will leave and definitely not sure what time I will arrive at the track. This will be the first time my car has seen the track since March. I've been working on it all summer long and this week we are finishing up everything in preparation for Daytona. Car has slowly transformed from street car to prepared street car to streetable race car to non-street legal race car to now a full blown race car.

NOTE TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO PLAY WITH ME:: NO! I will be be going very slow (around 2:40 range). I have to figure out what my car feels like after recently putting in a new cage and completely re-sorting the suspension over the summer. This is a completely different car than I am used to driving so I will NOT be fooling around with anyone this weekend. Please know that most everyone will be getting the point-by from me! I need to get ready for Daytona in Oct!

Oh man! How did I miss this one? I love running at night. Too late, plans made. Too bad, I would have made a good turtle to block the rabbit and I've got a special passing signal for Chad.

LOL....good one, Dan. You know me well but I am going to have to pull back the reigns alot this weekend. Two years ago I ran a 2:26.3 with consistant 27s at the 48 hours. The car is a whole 'nother beast now....a TON lighter, exact same engine and refined suspension. I'm really hoping that the car feels good and if that happens, I may try staying with the "big boys" for a few turns but nothing more. I need to scrub in tires, bed in brakes, ring out any mechanical issues and get used to a much stiffer car. Hopefully, it's not alot of work and tons of fun but you know what Test-N-Tune weekends can be like....

NOTE #2: What, When and Who has the plan to go to The Watering Hole this weekend????

I'm calling B.S. on Rich right now!!!! I give him two sessions before he's hanging from the straps trying to set personal best lap. Yeah, we've seen you drive, we know how you roll and there's no way in hell you'll be putting in "warmup" laps for an entire weekend.
So go ahead, keep on talking! I'll be looking for you!

I did 2:31's first weekend out in stock car, surely you will go faster than that.

Not that I want to challenge you or call you a wussie or anything.....

See you Friday

Indeed, thanks for pointing that out! :-)
Stock 997 GT3 with stock pads, stock rotors and used R888 tires and medium street / track setup, set high enough to be confused with a 4x4:

Allignment:
Camber lf -1.8 rf-1.8 lr -2.5 rr-2.4
Caster lf 7.6 rf 7.6 n/a n/a
Toe 0 0 0.22 0.22
Swaybars 2nd hole from softest and siffest rear.

Weight with 1/2 tank of gas, all tools, manuals, floor mats etc: 3205
lf 607 rf 606
lr 994 rr 998

Weight with my fat *** in it:
lf 681 rf651
lr 1095 rr1049

Transparant enough?
