Now that's just silly, I've never given anyone a pointby, even if they are faster. I'll spin, crash or duck into the pit before I give a pointby

You did get me motivated when you passed me in the Afternoon, Red E46 M3, Chasing you picked my laps times up by 2+sec a lap. I was dissapointed when you pitted as I was learning a lot from your lines.

That was fun. I noticed you had picked up the pace a bit. I was getting tired and was afraid I was going to make a mistake so I called it a day. Feel free to jump in the car at any future event.

Default Awards

Boxing Cat: Fastest non-orange Porsche out there

Broke ***: Most individual parts that came off a car

Chip & Orlando: Tied with one "I passed Dan" moment each, but Chip takes it with the most spectacular / style points.

Christian: Best Saturday night dinner idea EVER

...and if there was one for most point-bys given in a weekend, I think I'd win!

Thanks to everyone who participated and made this one of the most fantastic GCR DE weekends I can remember!!

Wow I don't think I have ever been this late to a party!

The list as I see it:

Timing is everything award:

A tie with
Boxing Cat in the "Blowed up when Dan wasn't driving" category.
Big O in the "Follow the bouncing parts" category

The main man Mikey G. with a win in the "This ain't autocross" category (Cones hurt at 110+).

And I myself humbly except the award in the "I can drive like Peter Category"!
This in no way (despite obvious similarities) is the same as the old redneck category called
"Hold my beer and watch this"

Now who the hell said that?

I only recall us passing people when I was driving. Plus, the only spin I had was when your car bit me.

Ahem........the award is a dubious achievement.......meaning that in my ridiculous attempt to "Drive like Peter" I proceeded to spin in T17 for my first time ever, lose it twice in T7 once in T10 and get made fun of by the corner workers for overdriving the car. Did I forget getting sternly spoken to by the main man!
All in all the most fun I have had at the track in quite a while!

Sorry about the bite! I have spoken with the Gray beast and we both apologize and are prepared to take the price of a new pair of driving shoes out of his allowance!

well so much for our two spin rule! Ohh I get it, you never went around twice so it did not count.

Exactly.......in all other cases miraculous saves were involved.

Are you really sure about that "best view" thing Angus?
